UkrSibbank Pays UAH 811 mln through Money Transfer Systems in 2008
“The slump didn’t affect the volumes and number of money transfers. People keep on supporting their relatives in Ukraine. Thus, the number of remittances paid in the 4Q increased by 8.5% comparing with the third one”, informed Sergiy Naumov, acting Chairman of the Management Board of UkrSibbank. The positive dynamics of money transfers is also observed in 2009. The number of paid remittances made from abroad through Western Union, Contact and Unistream systems, as well as within the territory of Ukraine through UkrSibbank money transfer system “Za Mit” is increasing monthly by 23% on average.
