 VTB Bank is declared the best custodian in Russia
VTB Bank Custodian won the National Contest “Stock Market Elite” for 2007 in the Best Custodian nomination. The National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR) has held the contest since 2000, and among its winners are Russian securities market professional participants with best performance and high service quality for the past year evaluated by market players. Over the last two years, the Bank has notably expanded the range of custody services to become a regional sub-custodian in Russia and other CIS countries for global custodians and international investors. 
At the beginning of the current year, the Bank was awarded the Top Rated status upon the rating made by Global Custodian magazine. VTB Bank is the only one among Russian bank custodians evaluated as the “Best in Class” in all rating categories, including “Customer Relations”, “Settlements”, “Reporting”, “Cash Settlements and FX Transactions” and “Technology Processes”. The win of the Bank in the “Stock Market Elite” Contest and its highly appreciated performance by Global Custodian is recognition of VTB’s high quality custody services in the domestic and international markets.
