 Fitch to affirm UkrSibbank’s rating at AAA(ukr) on national scale
On July 06, 2007 Fitch Ratings confirmed the JSCIB «UkrSibbank’s» long-term rating on national scale at the highest level - AAA(ukr). Forecast on national long-term rating – “Stable”. «As of today, a long-term rating of UkrSibbank on national scale as well as long-term issuer default rating in national currency are superior to the Ukraine’s sovereign rating. As informed by the rating agency, it is mainly driven by the possibility of obtaining support from the Bank’s shareholders, that is declarative of the Bank’s reliability», - said Oleksandr Adarich, Chairman of the Management Board of JSCIB «UkrSibbank». Fitch has also confirmed the following ratings of UkrSibbank: short-term issuer default “” rating in foreign currency, long-term issuer default “” rating in national currency, individual “D” rating and support “3” rating. Forecast of long-term issuer default ratings – “Positive”. Besides, in September, 2006, the Moody’s Rating Agency confirmed the identical UkrSibbank’s rating on national scale at Ààà.ua. Reference: JSCIB «UkrSibbank» was registered on June 18, 1990. the Bank has a full NBU license ¹ 75 dated December 24, 2001 on banking. As announced by the Global Finance – leading international financial edition Global Finance, New York, USA, JSCIB «UkrSibbank» was recognized a top bank in Ukraine ¹1 on mortgage lending market, as per the data of Ukrainian national mortgage association UkrSibbank has 18.8% of market share ¹1 on the stock market of Ukraine, it was nominated the best investment bank.
