Bank of Moscow wins the tender for placement of the funds of GK Rosnanotech

The Bank of Moscow was among the winners of the tender for placement of GK Rosnanotech funds. A total of 31 banks participated in the tender, and 8 of them were declared the winners. The funds of GK Rosnanotech will be placed in these credit institutions for a period of 18 months.

"GK Rosnanotech is one of the Bank of Moscow’s key partners", says Andrei Shalabaev, General Director of the Department for Corporate and Investment Business of the Bank of Moscow. "We plan to develop our collaboration with GK Rosnanotech in the sphere of project financing".

Information about GK Rosnanotech:

"Russian Corporation for Nanotechnology" was founded in 2007 by federal law No. 139-FZ for the purpose of pursuing state policy in the nanotechnology sphere.

The Corporation fulfils this task by acting as co-investor in non-technology projects with significant economic or social potential. The corporation’s financial participation in the early stages of projects mitigates the risk for its private investor partners.

The Corporation is taking part in setting up the nanotechnology infrastructure, such as collective use centres, business incubators and early investment funds. For the purpose of supporting project financing, the Corporation is implementing scientific and educational programmes and its popularising nanotechnology research and development. The Corporation selects the priority investment spheres on the basis of long-term development forecasts (foresights), engaging leading Russian and world experts to elaborate these.
