JSC "BTA" - the strategic partner of "SlavinvestBank" – has reorganized thework of its representative offices overseas
JSC «ÂÒÀ» - the strategic partner of LLC “SlavinvestBank” – has come to a decision concerning restructing of its representative offices overseas. Thus, the representative office of the Bank in Russia, with a previous target to attract new clients in trade finance, research Russian market and establish contacts with clients in RF, will now be concentrated on attracting clients for realization of BTA projects of investment financing. The management has successfully performed its function concerning promotion of trade finance in RF, and henceforth from this activity will be performed by JSC “Bank TuranAlem’s Financial Institutions and Global Trade Finance Division. Similar changes will be made also in the structure of the representative office of BTA in Ukraine. Besides that, since July 1 due to optimization of regional network of BTA its representative offices in Belarus (Minsk), Tadzhikistan (Dushanbe), and Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek) are closed. Meanwhile, the obligations of the Bank in relation to existing partners, including the banks, are preserved. BTA is planning in the future to develop and strengthen cooperation with CIS banks, within the framework of open lines of credit and settled correspondence relations. Enlargement of activity in the CIS countries is one of the priorities for BTA. The banks – strategical partners of BTA are functioning in Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The representative offices of BTA are functioning in Russia, Ukraine, China and UAE. BankTuranAlem has 22 subsidiaries and 244 branches in the Republic of Kazakhstan. * * * JSC “BTA” is one of the leading banks and the leader in creating a banking network in CIS countries. Following the results of I quarter of 2007 the bank’s consolidated assets are more than 19,4 billion USD, the Bank equity is 2 billion USD. Consolidation of the bank assets in CIS is planned for 2007 with increase to 50 billion USD by the year 2015. The Bank forecasts geographical diversification and enlargement of banking products sphere, as well as persistent and dynamic growth of the main indexes.
