 Absolute Bank Mortgage loan portfolio exceeded $1 bln.
Absolut Bank granted mortgage loans to the total amount of over $1 bln. Such a high financial index proves to be an obvious confirmation for the success and popularity of the home finance programs of the Bank. Launched in 2004, the mortgage lending is one of the priority businesses of Absolut Bank today, which has been on the Top-10 list of the mortgage market leaders since 2005. In 2007, the mortgage loan portfolio of the bank tripled, which allowed Absolut Bank to take the 3rd place in terms of the mortgage volumes in Moscow and Moscow region, 5th place in Saint Petersburg and 8th place among the largest mortgage banks of Russia. As long as Absolut Bank operates in the mortgage market, it improved the terms of its programs for several times, by reducing the interest rates, increasing the period of loan and expanding the product line. Today, the mortgage programs of the bank are acknowledged by the experts to be ones of the most appealing in the market, as now you may receive a loan for the purchase of an apartment from at 9% APR in US dollars and from at 10% APR in Russian rubles for the period of up to 25 years. Despite the instability in the world financial market in the second half of the last year, Absolut Bank kept the terms of its programs intact and just as well appealing for the clients as before and also offered new products to the clients. Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Absolut Bank Oleg Skvortsov: “Absolut Bank was one of the first banks to grant the mortgage loans in Russia.
