 MBRD: Is Awarded with Special Diploma of the First All-Russia Mortgage Brokers Congress
30.11.2007 On the First All-Russia Mortgage Brokers Congress Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development was awarded with Special Diploma for invaluable contribution to the development of network of new, “civilised” generation of mortgage brokers in Russia.
“The First All-Russia Mortgage Brokers Congress is a very significant event on the Russian mortgage market”, Mr. Sergey Zaytsev, the Chairman of the Management Board, said. “We are proud of having received this award, and we hope we’ll be an active contributor to the development of the Russian mortgage brokerage. The vast geographical territory of the Bank’s presence lets us implement the project throughout the country. The Bank is committed to the promotion of mortgage brokerage in regions by supporting the initiative of establishing in Russia the professional community and brokerage institute”.
The congress covered the following issues: - Can we consider today’s mortgage brokerage in Russia as independent business with long-term and large-scale perspectives?
- What’s the capacity of the market?
- What are the key skills and expertise for a mortgage broker? Where can you learn to be one?
- What’s the broker’s source of information on current loans and origination terms?
- What’s the best way to integrate this new and complicated business into realtor, insurance and other company’s business with maximum efficiency?
The Congress was the first joint project of the National League of Certified Mortgage Brokers, implementing inter-regional project “Prosto Ipoteka” (“Simply Mortgage”), and Infor-Media, the Russian leading business event organiser.
