Scope of credits furnished by the Bank of Moscow to small and medium business exceeded 50 bln. rubles

As of the 1st of August 2008, credit portfolio furnished to small and medium business exceeded 50 bln. rubles. Small and medium business keep on their accounts over 45 bln. rubles.

Maxim Shindyapkin, Executive Director of the Department of Small and Medium Business of the Bank of Moscow, said: "Development of credit financing for small and medium business is one of the important business directions for the Bank of Moscow. Credit portfolio tends to grow for small and medium businesses and reached 23% since the beginning of 2008. An important factor of portfolio growth became expanding product range. Some new programs have been introduced, in particular: "Express-credit for private entrepreneurs" and "Express-overdraft", which, for example, provide no collateral security.
