 The personal loans extended by the Bank of Moscow's Perm branch to its customers have topped the 2 billion rouble mark
"This is a worthy volume for the branch’s retail product credit portfolio" states Alexei Ivanov, manager of the Bank of Moscow’s Perm branch. "We reached the first billion at the beginning of 2007 and planned to double the figure this year. And I am pleased to announce that we have managed to reach our goal much earlier than anticipated." Perm branch customers can currently enjoy a broad range of services at any of the branch’s supplementary offices and, in the third quarter of 2008, another new supplementary office — the sixth — is to be opened in the city centre. "There is very fierce competition between Perm banks in the sphere of consumer lending" believes Igor Seleznyov, Deputy Director for Retail Business of the Bank of Moscow’s Perm branch. "But the Bank of Moscow’s personal loan product range is probably the fullest and most balanced. Moreover, we hope that, next year, we will be able to maintain the retail credit portfolio’s growth rate.
