Bank of Russia includes TransCreditBank's eurobonds into its lombard list

This information appears in the Bank of Russia’s letter, dated August 28, 2008, #108-Ò which was published in Vestnik of the Bank of Russia (The Bank of Russia’s News Bulletin). The lombard list includes bonds of some sub-sovereign issuers, mortgage bonds, eurobonds and RUR bonds.

Besides TransCreditBank’s eurobonds (issuer - TRANSCREDIT FIN P.L.C., code ISIN - XS0300048922) the list also features eurobonds issued by Alfa Bank and Promsvyazbank, as well as by MTS and Megafon cellular operators.

Vice-president of TransCreditBank O.S. Panarin says, “We expect that the decision of the Bank of Russia will further boost market players’ appetite for TransCreditBank’s debt and increase its liquidity”.
