General meeting of Mriya Bank’s shareholders takes placeA general shareholders’ meeting of Mriya Commercial Bank was held on 25 January 2007. Top of the agenda were issues related to private placement of Mriya shares, its results were thoroughly analyzed and approved. Also, a decision was made to change the name of the Bank from Mriya Commercial Bank into VTB Bank, with corresponding amendments to be made to the Bank’s Charter. Supervisory Board of VTB Bank is now headed by VTB Deputy Chairman Igor Zavyalov. Among its members are VTB Senior Vice President Nikolay Kuznetsov, Member of the Board, Senior Vice President Vassily Titov, and Senior Vice President Nikolay Tsekhomsky. Commenting the results of the placement worth UAH 230.4 million, Mriya Chairman Vadim Pushkarev stressed that “the successful subscription allowed us to hit a record in increasing the Bank’s authorized capital. Today, only a few commercial banks of Ukraine can boast of their authorized capital exceeding, in equivalent, USD 20 million.” Chairman of VTB Bank Supervisory Board Igor Zavyalov informed the meeting participants that Mriya Commercial Bank had been a member of VTB International Group since October 2006 and had actually been operating under the VTB Group brand ever since. Following the decision made at the meeting in respect of the Bank’s name change from Mriya Commercial Bank into VTB Bank, the following amendments will be made to the Bank’s Charter relating to its full and short official names: - full name in Ukrainian: ³äêðèòå àêö³îíåðíå òîâàðèñòâî ÂÒÁ Áàíê;
- full name in Russian: Îòêðûòîå àêöèîíåðíîå îáùåñòâî ÂÒÁ Áàíê;
- full name in English: Open Joint-Stock Company VTB Bank;
- short name in Ukrainian: ÂÀÒ ÂÒÁ Áàíê;
- short name in Russian: ÎÀÎ ÂÒÁ Áàíê;
- short name in English: JSC VTB Bank.
