Rosbank Restores Russia's First Ever Bank Branch

The reopening ceremony of Saint-Petersburg branch of Rosbank took place on June 26 in the presence of Vladimir Golubkov and Igor Antonov, CEO and First Deputy CEO of Rosbank. The branch is located in a building of great historical interest that has recently been restored to all its former glory. In 1995, the building was declared part of Russia’s heritage, and initial renovation was begun. As of 2006, Rosbank, the building’s most recent occupant, started financing the restoration work.

 “We are proud to have been involved in the restoration of a major part of Russia’s financial and architectural heritage”, - noted Mr. Golubkov at the ceremony.
