Alfa-Bank Participates in WWF Earth Hour

Alfa-Bank is proud to participate in the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour. This global event will take place on 28 March 2009 in over 100 countries. Its goal is to promote energy conservation and raise awareness of climate change.

Hundreds of millions of people around the world will switch off their lights for one hour at 20:30 local time to show they are concerned about the future of our planet. Anyone who thinks it is important for future generations to enjoy a healthy planet is invited to participate.

Alfa-Bank is encouraging all of its 12,000 employees to take part in Earth Hour.
