 The Alfa-Bank Annual Summit in the Alps
Alfa-Bank held its fourth Summit in the Alps, on March 7-8. The summit started with an opening address by Petr Aven, President of Alfa-Bank via a live video-conference from Moscow. The speakers were the representatives of Russian and Ukrainian companies, including Pavel Vladislavlev, General Manager, MosCityGroup, Denis Morozov, President, MMC Norilsk Nickel, Kris Sliger, Executive Vice President for strategy and new business development, TNK-BP, Lev Khasis, CEO, X5 Retail Group N. V., Igor Yankovsky, Member of Supervisory Board, Stirol, Boris Podolsky, CFO, CTC Media, made his speech via video-conference, like Petr Aven. The summit aimed to provide Alfa-Bank IB’s most important clients with the major market updates in Russia and the CIS, as well as informing asset managers of international investment funds on the political and economic situations in these countries. As before, the conference was not limited to public speeches and presentations by companies and Alfa-Bank’s analysts — participants could also discuss their questions of interest informally.
