The Bank of Moscow has announced about the bank rate rise in US dollars for the "New Capital" deposit
Beginning since November 16, 2007, the Bank of Moscow raises interest rates in US dollars for the «New Capital» deposit. The changes of conditions of attraction of finances resources to the «New Capital» deposit depend on the sum and time of the deposit. The Bank of Moscow rises the bank-rate for the «New Capital» deposit as follows: - For the sum of 10,000 to 100,000 US dollars: 6.9% for the period from 1 year to 1.5 years and 7% for the period from 1.5 to 2 years.
- For the sum of 100,000 US dollars and more: 7% for the period from 1 to 1.5 years and 7.1% for the period from 1.5 to 2 years.
The interesting fact is that the interest on deposit is added to the sum of the deposit increasing the sum every 91st calendar day. One of the peculiarities of the «New Capital» deposit is an opportunity to receive a Visa Electron or Cirrus Maestro plastic card for free. «We announce the bank-rate rise in US dollars for the „New Capital“ deposit for the purpose of supporting our deposits competitive capacity», Albert Andrianov, Head of Department of Deposit and Accounting Products, explained. It should be noted that for nine months of the year 2007 the amount of borrowed funds of physical persons made up 110.7 billion rubles.
