 On Election of Mikhail Kopeikin as Chairman of the Russian Development Bank Supervisory Board
Management Board Member – Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Mikhail Kopeikin was elected as Chairman of the Russian Development Bank Supervisory Board (OJSC RDB). This decision was made in the course of the RDB Supervisory Board meeting. The RDB Supervisory Board is comprised of President of All-Russian Non-governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business OPORA RUSSIA Sergei Borisov, RDB Board Director Sergei Krykov, Director of the Department of State Target Programs of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Andrei Sharov, Director of Vnesheconombank’s Department for Small and Medium Business Projects Alexei Eskindarov. At its meeting, the RDB Supervisory Board approved a business plan of the Russian Development Bank for the year 2009. The plan provides for increasing the amount of support for small and medium business to 30 billion rubles, the meeting also acknowledged the RDB Management Board performance report for the year 2008. This meeting is the first one after shares of the Russian Development Bank were contributed into the charter capital of State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’. The Russian Development Bank (OJSC) was founded in 1999. One hundred percent of the RDB’s shares is owned by State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’.
