Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev is Appointed as Head of the RUIE Committee for Public Private Partnership and Investment Policy

Moscow. January 28. INTERFAX – Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev was appointed as Head of the RUIE Committee for Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Investment Policy by the resolution of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Management Bureau.

“Whereas VEB’s projects are playing one of the key roles on Russia’s investment market and in the PPP sphere, we hope that the RUIE’s new potentialities would be in demand in the Russian business community”, says the Union’s press release.

Earlier Alexandr Shokhin was Head of this Committee.

Some changes were also made in the RUIE Commission for Banks and Banking. The RUIE Management Bureau seconded VTB (RTS: VTBR) Head Andrei Kostin’s request to relieve him of his duties as Chairman of the Commission taking into account his immense workload in his principal activity.

Chairman of the Association of Regional Banks Alexandr Murychev and Chairman of the Association of Russian Banks Garegin Tosunyan were appointed as Co-chairmen of the Commission. “So leaders of the largest banking associations will be in charge of the Commission”, says the RUIE’s statement.
