President of B.I.N.BANK has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bashinvestbank On Wednesday, December 10th, the Board Meeting of Bashinvestbank made a decision to reelect the members of the Board of Directors as follows: Mikail O. Shishkhanov Rim S. Bakiev Vasily N. Peganov Kirill V. Lyubentsov Mikhail V. Agureev Denis A. Sivachev Tamerlan Yu. Miziev It was unanimously resolved by the members of Bashinvestbank’s Board of Directors that Mikail Shishkhanov would be appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Rim Bakiev as Deputy Chairman. "In a relatively short time Bashinvestbank has recovered the full range of banking services and returned to its normal course of business. That was our priority task. Later we plan to transfer operation of B.I.N.BANK’s branch in Ufa to the platform of Bashinvestbank", Mikail Shishkhanov stated. Furthermore he added: "We cannot rule out the possibility to acquire other regional banks in the framework of the government program aimed at rehabilitation of the banking system since it concurs with strategic plans of B.I.N.BANK with regard to systematic development of its own sales network. Currently we keep opening new branches on the basis of the regional representative offices". Thus, branch in Orenburg started its operations on December 10 th 2008. At the end of the month a new branch in Krasnodar will be launched. Next year we plan to open other new branches on the basis of existing representative offices in Ivanovo and Saransk.
