 Helmut Bernkopf officially appointed Deputy President of IMB Board of Management
By the decision of the Board of Directors of International Moscow Bank (IMB) and with the candidate approval by the Major Territory Division of the Bank of Russia Helmut Bernkopf was appointed Deputy President of the Board of Management of IMB for the period until June 30, 2009. Helmut Bernkopf (39) has been acting for Bank Austria Creditanstalt (BA-CA) – the major shareholder of IMB at present – since 1994. Having started in BA-CA’s corporate banking sector in Vienna, he became Head of Loan Syndications at BA-CA’s London Branch in 1997. In October 2000, he moved to BA-CA Romania, where he was Head of Corporate Banking. In 2001, Helmut Bernkopf was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of what is now HVB Tiriac Bank. At the end of 2004, he returned to Vienna as General Manager for operations in Central and Eastern Europe. IMB Board of Management is composed of the following members: Yuri Tverskoy, Helmut Bernkopf, Irina Vinogradova, Ivan Rozinskiy, Eduard Issopov, Evgeny Retyunskiy and Andrey Yumatov.
