As of September 2008, Alfa-Bank will offer its customers the opportunity to order bank cards depicting an image of their choice.

Customers will be able to express their individuality on their bank cards based on an image of their own choice. It could be a picture of their loved ones, a family pet, a holiday snapshot, or even one of their own drawings. To help customers choose the best image, there will be a gallery of ready-made stylish designs made up with the new images.

This product is unique in that the whole of the front of the card can be covered with a design of the customer’s choice. The process is simple: the customer can choose the design and order the card over the Internet via the Alfa-click website. On choosing a design, the customer is able to see what the finished product will look like online. It is also possible to keep track of the card through its various production stages, from the approval of the design by the international payment system standards to its delivery at the customer’s preferred Alfa-Bank branch.

Viktor Shkipin, Alfa-Bank’s Retail Products Development Director said, “While developing and working on this product, we used Alfa-Bank’s basic principles of cutting-edge technology and customer care as a starting point. A combination of both, as we see it, has been fully implemented with ’My Card’. The opportunity to order cards depicting loved ones or cherished moments, is an excellent gift to yourself and a way to express your individuality”.
