 For a half year UkrSibbank has rendered 22 thousand car loans
Ivan Istomin, Head of Individual Business Development Department of JSCIB “UkrSibbank”: Ukraine has ranked the ninth in Europe in terms of the number of sold cars. Last year the Ukrainians purchased more than 400 thousand cars. Such boom is driven by acceptable loan-rendering conditions. For instance, lately UkrSibbank has decreased car loan rates. In such way the bank is aspiring to make cars more affordable for its customers. For the first half of 2007 the bank granted 22 thousand auto loans in total amount of USD 330 mln, whereas for a similar period of the last year such figures made up 9.9 thousand auto loans in the amount of more than USD 115 mln. Auto loans rendered in national currency (for the first six months of 2007) amounted to 14%.
