MBRD: 3.5 Fold Increase in Car Loan Origination

MBRD was ranked 17th in the ‘Finance’ magazine’s rating of car lending market leaders (‘Finance’ magazine, issue ¹13 (199), dd. April 208, 2007). The rating’s basic criterion was the volume of car lending as of January 1, 2007. According to the survey held the car loan share in MBRD’s retail lending portfolio accounted for 43% as of reporting date. The total volume of loans granted to individuals exceeded 9,135 mln RUR. In the period from Jan 1, 2006 up to Jan 1, 2007 the Bank originated 11,971 car loans totaling 3,911 mln RUR.
