On Establishing a Syndicate for Placing Vnesheconombank's Domestic Currency –Denominated Bonds Series 01
- Bonds are planned to be placed on June 3, 2009 at the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICE). Bonds are to be placed through closed subscription among Russian lending institutions. The first coupon rate was determined in accordance with the procedure for determining coupon interest rate 6mLibor+ 1% and amounts to 2.24%. The bond maturity is one year. Bond yields are to be paid twice a year.

On Issuing and Placing Vnesheconombank's Domestic Currency-Denominated Bonds
- Vnesheconombank fully placed its debut issue of currency-denominated bonds series 01 worth 2 billion dollars at the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange. The bonds were placed through closed subscription among Russian lending institutions. The rate of raising funds was 2.24% on the first coupon.

ORGRESBANK changes name to Nordea Bank
- The timing of the name change is due to Nordea in December 2008 acquiring a 17.7% stake in ORGRESBANK from two managing shareholders and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Scheduled for this September in Moscow, the name change will cover all 15 regions of the bank’s presence by the yearend.

Anna Samarina Appointed as a Member of the Management Board of UkrSibbank
- Anna Samarina joined UkrSibbank in June, 2000. She used to work as Head of Budgeting Unit, Head of Monitoring and Planning Division, and Deputy Head of Finance Department – Head of Management Control Division. Since December, 2006 she took up the position of Head of Finance Department. Her banking experience is 11 years.
