The Bank of Moscow adds more insurers for implementing its mortgage programmes
- Now customers can choose to arrange their insurance packages with OAO MSK (Moskovskaya Strakhovaya Kompaniya) (Moscow Insurance Company), SZAO (insurance closed joint-stock company) Standart-Rezerv, OSAO Ingosstrakh and OAO ROSNO.

AK BARS Bank has got the MasterCard Worldwide license for trading acquiring.
- The license gives the Bank the right to serve cards of the international payment system MasterCard Worldwide in the Bank's terminals located in trade-service enterprises.

- The facility was launched on 27 February 2008 at US$ 75,000,000 and achieved a great success in the market. Having raised a substantial oversubscription AK BARS Bank decided scale back to US$ 200,000,000.

VTB announces record profits in its first year as a public company
- Total assets increased 76.7% to US$92,609 million. Net income increased 28.4% to US$1,514 million, driven by strong growth of the loan portfolio. Core income (including net interest and fee and commission income before exceptional item) increased by 48% to US $3,056 million.
